O8 Sherco 4t - Front Break Sqeekin Like A Banchi (help)

Hi all

i have just put a full new front brake resiviour and calip system on me 4t and its making a right racket and its horrid, dose it just need breakin in exscuse the pun or do i need to do some type of trick to get it to just shut the xxxx up n do its job

please help

put a small amount of copper grease on the back of the pads

and make sure the pads are NOT the SINTERED type- if they are they are too hard a compound

and will sqeal

the best and only pads to use are GALFER (red ones)

if you can't get these then use APICO/GOLDFREN

everything else on the market is S***

Most brakes that have made this noise have been somewhat cured by bedding the pads in. Ride the bike for 500m with the brake lightly on, at the end of the 500m hose the system down. This will hopefully take off the glaze and bed the pads in to the disk.

I posted on the Braking pads a couple weeks ago. I like them.

You see, it is not that the Galfers start to squeal just a little, it is that they become excessively annoying! Yes, done all that other stuff to no avail.

I'm not soo sensitive that I would invest in the new disks because of it. Way too tight for that! :(
