Wheel Straightening

Is it possible to straighten a buckled wheel.

Is it a case of where ever the wheel is out of line, Loosening off the opposite side and tightening the side you want to pull it in too?

Has any body done this and give me instructions?

Cheers

Yes thats the theory and is easily done as long as the rim isn't physically dented. You must let the air out of the tyre first and if its a small buckle you may be able to straighten it on the bike.

The inner spokes that L shape towards the hub centre control the ovality of the wheel and the outer spokes with L shape outwards do the trueing of the rim
