Hi,

I have a sherco 2t 2008 that is sometimes hard to get into 3rd gear only(all other gears are ok) if you use a bit more force it does go in.

As it is a intermitant problem should i see if it improves or should i be stripping to find problem now

It is a 2008 bike but has had very little use

Any help would be much appreciated

Change the gear oil and look dip a magnet into the old oil to check for metal fragments.

changed the gear oil after i rode last sunday and oil was free of any metal bits

Will likely smooth out with use.

i found mine stiff at first, it gets better with use
