Ty175 What Exhaust Is Best

Featured Replies

what exhaust do i get for my ty175 i have seen a few but was thinking of a sammy miller front pipe and the mid box that requires no extra silencer.

The one with the tail section is supposed to give more power,if you get the one which has the mid section only I think you will find it has the packing in this section so when its due for changing its going to be a problem. If you get the other one at least you can repack the tail section easily.

Having run all 3 of the Exhaust pipes on my Ty175. The stock setup was the Quietest one and also the Heaviest. The two piece setup with mid box with rear Silencer a little louder and lighter then stock, did not find any Performance changing the motor. The SM one piece with out rear silencer is the lightest and I did find that the motor did run better and revs better. It is also the loudest. And running the short front pipe also help the motor run better.

how do you fit the one piece do you need a silicon sleve if so what size in mm is it thanks

ive got one waiting to be fitted along with points condensor plug alter the air box change rear shocks fork oil change probably loads more too thanks for the info :icon_salut:
