markmaltby Posted June 8, 2009 Report Share Posted June 8, 2009 I have bought a stop switch for my bike and want to make sure im wiring it correctly. The switch is open circuit until pressed. Do i need to put one of th wires from the switch to a earth point so when depressed it shorts the wire from the coil to earth and therefore stopping the engine.
