November 20, 200916 yr Author Thanks for the replies, I have found a suspension specialist just up the road from me, who is going to have a look but if he can't help will try the chap on ebay and 5wt oil. Cheers
November 23, 200916 yr Try re-assembling them using a 50/50 mix of brake fluid and suspension oil. Cures most leaking shocks after 24 hours.
November 24, 200916 yr Try re-assembling them using a 50/50 mix of brake fluid and suspension oil.Cures most leaking shocks after 24 hours. that right there is funny, don't think I will be trying that myself, just curious how many times have you tried this? how long does it last? weeks? years? do you remove the brake fluid after the seals swell enough to stop them from leaking? or just leave the brake fluid in permantly?
