I recently bought a ty250c and the decal on the heat shield was changed to "trials 300". Was there a enginge mod that would boost it to 300?

One of the fellows I ride with has one. Also has an electronic ignition. I don't know if these are modifications he had done or they are factory. He doesn't check in here but I'll ask him. Bike runs extremely well and for an older gent he is quite a good rider.

The frame and engine numbers match and the jug has the 246cc stamp. I was wondering if they had a big bore kit.

I ride a 74 ty that's a 290 now, 75mm bore, pulls like crazy at our altitude, events at 5000 to 9200 ft.
