a friend of mine is trying to get the age of his daughters gas gas and i said i would post on here and ask if any body can tell me the age from the frame number

the number is: vtrgg 129903990162 can anyone help? cheers for your time guys

if my memory serves me right then it should be as follows;

VTR = International manufacturers code. VTR = GasGas

GG = Trials model

1299 = Engine capacity & year (12= 125 + 99= 1999)

0399 = Month of manufacture and year (March 1999)

0162 = chassis number (ie; this is the 162nd bike off the production line)

So if I'm right then your mates daughter has a 125 Gasgas made in March 1999 ?
