My club the Bon Accord Motorcycle Club in Aberdeenshire are running the Grampian Motorcycle Convention for the second year. Last years event was a huge success and this year should be bigger and better. There is slightly less motorcycle trials on this year but that shouldn't detract from an event that all motor bike lovers shouldn't miss. The day starts at 11:00 and the program look something like this. 11:00 Pursuit Racing Practice round the Grampian Transport Museums short oval 11:20 Vintage and Classic bikes depart on thier run. 11:40 Pursuit racing and classic racer display 12:00 The Clan Cycle Trials Stunt Team display 12:20 Squibb Freestyle MX team 12:40 Pursuit Racing Final 13:05 Police in Drag (?) 13:15 Supermoto Practice 13:30 Moped Mayhem Leg 1 ( a huge and crazy moped marathon race on the supermoto circuit inc. jumps) 13:55 The Clan Cycle Trials Stunt Team display 14:15 Supermoto Race 1 14:35 Squibb Freestyle MX team 14:55 Moped Mayhem Leg 1 15:20 Supermoto Race 2 15:55 Squibb Freestyle MX team backflip finale As well as all this going on on the track there are displays of all sorts of classic and famous bikes, racing bikes of all sorts and special guest appearances for the bike lovers, trade stands, food vendors and kids entertainment too keep the whole family happy. August 24, 201016 yr Author BigJohn was commentating last year at the Scotland (Gary McDonald) vs Isle of Man (Steve Colley) arena trial so yes he got in free.
