October 10, 201015 yr Just fitted a Michelin X light to my bike and was wondering whether the forum members would advise running a bit of silicon sealant (or bead sealer) around each bead to hold the tyre in place or whether just to leave as? Andy
October 10, 201015 yr Author No problem just the tyre I took off was slipping off the rim at low pressure so I did n't want to be in the same boat with the new one. Just wondering if a bit of sealer was normal or naked tyre to rim was the norm?
October 10, 201015 yr the tyre allways moves on a tubeless rim,so sealer wont be any good.if you marker pen it from tyre to rim and do a trial ,it wont line up at the end of the trial.
