mtaylor Posted January 2, 2011 Report Share Posted January 2, 2011 (edited) Hi, I've just bought a 1988 TY250R Mono that has a alloy / magnesium mag cover fitted (L/H)the cover has the intials N/B embossed on it, any info on it's origin most welcome ? also the bike has a shirty front disc conversion(Grimeca caliper)are pads for this conversion currently available ? eddie_lejeune Posted January 2, 2011 Report Share Posted January 2, 2011 The ones with NB on them aren't magnesium, it is a Nigel Birkett aftermarket one, these were popular replacements in the day when the original magnesium yamaha one smashed which was a regular occurance.
