broke in half; Techno swing arm

Featured Replies

The end of last summer the swing arm on my '99 techno basically tore in half. I've had the bike for most of it's life. I don't think i do anything too crazy with it...

Has anyone had experience with this??? I've never broke a swing arm like this before.

Just talked to a beta dealer close to where i live and he said something like $550 for a new one.

Give me a minute and i'll get a pic up...

I've sean a couple of gas gas swingarms break but never a techno one..

It must be all the pies you eat... :rotfl::rotfl:

Theres loads of second hand ones about,,, Eblag and like..

Not a helpfull comment but; can't help but notice where it has broken and the wear/use (from boot heels?). Why not splint it up either inside or out maybe not too pretty but effective.

I wish i had some pies to eat... I could use the insulation (it's cold!)

I though about splinting it and welding all around, but that seems to questionable for something that sees this much stress.

i've still looking for a new one.

anybody had this happen???

JR did you get my PM ??
