Scuffed fork leg

Saturday was the worst ride I have ever had in my trials career. During which I managed to bang my fork leg against a rather unfriendly rock. The scuff is about 1cm long and is more of an abrasion. The fork seems ok, doesn't seem to affect the working of it and the seal seems to be sealing. No evidence of oil on the leg. I've very lightly run some wet and dry over the area to make sure there are no proud edges. Does anybody know any good places where they do good repairs and any idea of the cost ? or is there anything else I could do to get rid of the blemish ? My bike is an 08 Rev4 and has black fork legs.

Thanks

gareth

I'm not sure if it was the fork, or the stanchion tube but, i can tell you i did the same to my bike today riding through branches and thicket just to find the trail again in mud and snow. I lost a fork guard, and didn't even realise it!
