The only difference between the 01 and 06 cylinder heads is the size of the combustion chamber. The 01 cylinder head combustion chamber was smaller, giving a higher compression ratio. Where as for 2006, sherco increased the size of the combustion chamber, reducing the compression ratio, making the engine more usable in muddy conditions.
