you could do with going and watching a trial first just to get the idea, theres a good dvd available by dan thorpe that gives good tips and shows general idea ,also try practicing things your not good at not just going up/over things that you are confident of doing ,a trial will be harder than expected(so practice hard ),also practice tight turns around the trees ride across cambers tight turns straight into hill climbs ,turning on banks and make some sections up with sticks or something also over rocks/cobbles ,you could do with practicing with someone that has trials experience as they can teach you and show you different skills

iv watched trials before, i no how they work and what to do, as for tight turns i find those fairly easy as i ride cycle trials aswell, one thing i struggle with is going over big rocks and hoping the rear end around but i spose ill get that eventually, plus in all iv only been riding a trials bike a month soo i think im doing alrite. but practice makes perfect, and i am goin to enter the beginer trials to start with see how i get on

Watching your vids I think you will be fine. Crack on and enjoy mate.

thanks, well i figured that the only way to know how good or bad i am was to actually enter local trials. does anyone on here enter cornish trials??

you should be ok then you shouldnt have to worry about going over anything big or bouncing the rear around on the easy route

It all changes when you put it between the markers! Walk the sections well, learn them and find your line!

Concentrate on your line and adjust as neccessary! The GOOD line is about three inches wide in many cases.
