caldiboy Posted March 8, 2012 Report Share Posted March 8, 2012 Just got a 2006 Beta rev 3 - how do I check the gearbox oil level? The window isn't showing anything but there is oil in there. With a cold engine, hold the bike upright and oil should be visible in the sight glass. I go for it being about half way up the sight glass. pindie Posted March 9, 2012 Report Share Posted March 9, 2012 I think it is all very similar. Trials bikes just seem to like thin oil that is changed regularly - every 20 hours etc. If you ever have a clutch issue or notchy gear selection I'd always try an oil change first before you panic.
