i tried my keihin carbom my 300 Gas Gas on my yamaha and was surprised it ran ok

i bought another carb from ebay, what jets do i need to get it to run well

mains currently 118 idle 35

any ideas

gonna have to play with it, get you some brass, I use a kehin on my Cota 123, had to go down on the main and up on the pilot, needle one clip from the top

45 pilot a good start in my mind, possibly larger

the Gas Gas carb i tried on it had idle 45, main 122, needle jjh 3rd groove from top, slide 3.5

the carb i tried on yamaha had idle 45, main 118, needle jhn 1st groove from top, slide 3.5

starts, runs, ticks over when warm, mixture screw is right in to get it to pick up and even then its slow to respond

any ideas

If you are using a 28mm, its a little large for a TY 175. The Keihin copy, OKO 24mm works great with a 115-120 main and a 48-50 pilot. Use the JJH needle in the top slot.
