April 29, 201214 yr hi there, im asking this question on half of my friend, he was wondering if anyone has bought a s3 pipe for there beta and if they are worth it, do they notice any difference in power? thanks
April 30, 201214 yr Talked to a chap with one on a 290 and he'd change reeds, sounded nice and he found it quicker.
May 1, 201214 yr I like mine. Seems to have better low end torque and less "pipey" when revved up. Saves some weight too.
May 1, 201214 yr I have an S3 pipe, and Vforce reeds fitted to my bike, and find it makes a noticeable difference in the power delivery of the bike for the better. Has a really nice tone too it as well. Note: This is on an 09' 290
May 2, 201214 yr Avo To get an accurate answer you need to help us understand if you are asking about a long or short S3 pipe as S3 has both a short and long pipe for the Beta. The people who have answered to date should clarify if their pipe is long or short. What is it that you seeking the S3 pipe to do, more power or softer delivery that will determine the S3 pipe you order.
May 2, 201214 yr As I recall, the short is for quicker revs, where as the long is for more torque. However even the long pipe has a stronger power delivery.
