June 23, 201214 yr If you have checked points and condensor, swap coil, then stator. Some ignition problems sound/feel like carb/fuel.
June 23, 201214 yr Certainly I recall a pal had the disc valve "jump the splines" back in the day so it can happen and, presumably, is easily checked?
June 23, 201214 yr Author Condenser replaced - sweet as a nut. Thanks to all the people that gave hints. That condenser was only a few hours old so it was not up there on the things to change first....
