Another One For Coc And Observers

we airlifted a bloke at one of our LDT's last year - he fell off on a flat byway (not in a section). all sorts happens but in the scheme of things we hardly get any injuries in trials at all (we run mx and enduro too)

Has any let rider ever had or needed a minder?

Do broken legs ever occur on ldt trials?

Almost every LDT in which I ride, I see riders who would benefit from a minder as they don't often ride trials and make the easiest sections look hard. And good riders who have a bad day.

The potential for injury is present in any event. It is the organisers role to take all reasonable precautions.

We had a similar incident a few years ago which very sadly ended up being fatal.
