October 12, 201213 yr can someone tell me the three positions of the fuel tap on my 96 techno ,I have straight up ,straight down and horizontal. I would think that after 35 years of bikeing I would be able to work it out ,lol
October 12, 201213 yr If up is OFF, then horizontal is ON and down is reserve. If down is OFF then horizontal is ON and up is reserve. Reserve is nearly always opposite OFF, and ON being in the middle. Hope that makes sense. Edited October 12, 201213 yr by tazz229

October 12, 201213 yr Seems I only used off and reserve. Seems if I remember the CDI could break the petcock during a hard drop if left in the `on` position.
