Looking For Any Info On James Trials Bike?

Featured Replies

I've been offered on but have no idea how much there worth or if you can still get parts for them?

Any info at the moment would be of help.

I'm not looking to do events on it just a bit of fun on the odd Sunday.

Cheers

There are James, and there are 2013 James, £500---------£5000

and there are badly converted road bikes with AMC motors that arent worth tupence.

Here it is not the best photo but you get the idea

Sellers asking £750 for it What you think?

Are you sure it's not a Villiers 8E motor in a Bantam or some such frame ? Looks like a Bantam tank too but then again i could be totally wrong. Then again for £750 and if you could knock him down a bit even better.

I,d like to have an idea what the bike actually is? If its a bit of a home made thing then i probably wont bother with it.

As an example theres a cobbled up pile of junk on flea bay at the moment with the AMC motor that isnt worth the cost of fuel to pick it up but some poor sap will probably buy it thinking theyre getting a James trials bike at a bargain price.

deof looks like bantam frame from the swing arm, and the tank looks like the d1/d2

and looks like a set off bantam forks resting on the shelves they may have been on the bike? and he has put japs on,
