Used to having a clear tank and seeing how much fuel I have available on my KTM and so been caught out a couple of times with the aluminium tank. Anyone know of any drawback to the bigger clear tanks? Thinking it could be £140 well spent for me knowing how much fuel I have left.

ok if fitted correctly but orig design is for the 2008 frame. I think you need to warm the tank so it doesnt touch the exhaust and electrics. Ring Gas Gas and somebody will explain. also see tc classified ads for a used one now.

Here's a low-cost solution: put a tee into your gas line after the peacock, and then run a clear piece of fuel line back up to above the upper most part of the tank. The level in the line will be that of the tank. Funny how the technology of pressure never changes.
