April 28, 201313 yr Hi all, I own a 2004 Scorpa SY250, the one with the Yamaha engine. The bike has 38 mm Paioli forks and one tube is pitted and scored. Does anyone know a source for new tubes from anywhere in the world. Getting tubes rechromed in New Zealand is expensive and the companies take months. so I would prefer to purchase new or good used. April 30, 201313 yr I have the same problem on one of my legs, except its the later one with the black coating. It's not terrible, but if I could find a way to replace it I will. I've heard about filling in the scratches with super glue and letting it sit for 24 hours and then sanding it back down to level, but I'm almost sure that will rub the black coating off the forks.
May 21, 201313 yr Try snezzy.be in Belgium. They sold the bikes new, it's just that Tanja does'nt like the Paioly forks. Also lokk on the site trial-motorrad.de These 2 are known in Europe as the 2 shops that are specialised in the SY.
