Hi, I have a problem with getting the timing right. It was running then i changed points and condensor it ran again. All i have done now is change the plug cap for an ngk one. now its still sparking but wont start. Fuel fine I have tried adjusting points but find it really hard through the little flywheel hole.

Any Ideas????

If the new plug cap is the hard black one. Check the side of the cap and see if it has a 5 ohem sign on it. If it does change it out, these caps with a resistor in them do not work the old mags. Almost drove me crazy on my Bultaco until I found the brand new NGK cap was not working.

Tony Down has a page way back in his blog regarding about the same issue. If I remember correct there are some points that have a protective coating on them that needs to be removed. Hope it's just your cap though.
