Hard to start and when it starts it rev very high and keeps reving high and sometimes it will rev and then bogg down can keep it running with a few turns of throttle but will cut out as soon as you stop reving it NEED HELP HEADS GOING TO EXPLODE!!!!!!!!!

With the engine off, open the throttle and release it.

Make sure you hear a good loud "clunk" of the slide bottoming.

If not, check your cable routing and make sure the ends of the cable are properly seated in the throttle body and the elbow in the top of the carb.

First thing to do would be a proper carb clean and make sure the jets are in spec for your elevation. Sounds like the idle circuit and choke circuit is plugged up. Did you just get the bike? Has it been sitting. Also a quick check is to remove the flywheel cover, grab the flywheel and check for play. Being a 2002 the main bearings could be long gone.
