November 20, 201312 yr Does anyone know the RAL number for the red frame on the 2014 bikes, I'm sure it's the same as all the other years so any help would be appreciated.
November 21, 201312 yr I have been trying to find the paint for a 2013 gas gas e8, any idea what paint I would need I'm assuming its the same as the adult bikes but I have no idea sorry I can't help with your post
November 22, 201312 yr Have a ral chart handy if you can describe the colour i can give you the numbers which i think matches, sorry dont know the bikes at all to know which colour it is, Shout if that helps any. F
November 22, 201312 yr I can't remember the codes now but a couple are close on the ral or bs chips. The colours will vary by year as different batches of powder vary. Also vw corrodia red is close. Best bet, Take your bike to a body shop paint supplier and hold some chips against it but be carefull as the solvents in basecoat paints will attack the powder coating and can make it bubble up where your touching in. Best method is touch the area in with a bit of light grey or white 1st then with red as it will cover better. Dont put too much paint on in one go, Dab light bits on and give it a short blast with a hair dryier between coats to eveporate the solvents before they attack.
