My Dads Passion.

Featured Replies

Hi guys

My dad is unbelievably talented in the workshop but lacks the time to mess around on forums like me :).

The red Honda is a xl185 reincarnated and the Rothmans is a xr200 mono.

My pops has a passion for building classics and as far as im concerned, hes dam good at it. Engines are worked on and done up by his buddy (technical inspector of the SA GP bikes) but EVERYTHING else is done by my dad......chopping frames, molding tanks/fairings/sray jobs the works.

My pops has competed on everything with 2 wheels and still rides like a champ. His main focus is classic GP however, fairly recently he built a few classic trials bikes (which initiated my interest in the sport).

Thought I would share.

No. None of my dads bikes have been on ebay. He rarely sells bikes. All of these are keepers.
