Lanyard Kill Switch - Leonelli/jitsie, Apico, Beta Factory Version

Featured Replies

Hi guys, just thinking I'm going to fit a Lanyard Kill Switch to my Beta Evo 250 2013. From what I can see the world guys are using elasticated lanyards, possibly the Jitsie Leonelli version...? Anyone know which is the best to buy? Some are cheap like the Apico, mid range seems to the Jitsie/Leonelli and then there's the Beta Factory Lanyard (possibly more expensive as it has Beta written on it?

Can anyone recommend the best quality one to buy?

I'm quite new to trials and I have no doubt that sooner or later I'll get into a situation where I jam the throttle open after an off or something and I figure a kill switch is a good idea, both for safest and to look after the bike.

The jitsie is good, the best £30 you can spend, it will save you money. It kills a bad situation before it has chance to develop into a major problem.

Thanks for that info, one Jitsie Lanyard Kill Switch ordered

I'm with jfc re that, after six month or so my elastic has stretched and looks a bit threadbare. But you can buy replacement lanyards.

Cheers Taff
