February 3, 201412 yr Contact JLI, John Lampkin Imports, the Beta UK importer and they should be able to tell you. They use the numbers to age the bikes to ensure you get the correct parts to fix........
February 3, 201412 yr I see your in Australia, he should be able to do it on an email, from his contact tab......

February 3, 201412 yr They'd definitely tell you, or go to the www.beta-uk.com website and follow the bike guides which describe what year bike has what goodies on it. I used JLI a lot when I had my Techno, very helpful, and for the cost of the international call, you'll have an answer. No brainer really.
February 3, 201412 yr Here's a list of Beta UK for the 2012 models. Also link to rest of the Frame and engine no's http://www.beta-uk.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=117:frame-numbers&catid=45:info Edited February 3, 201412 yr by bilks
February 3, 201412 yr 10th Digit on the frame number will give you the year model mate. a = 2010, b = 2011, c = 2012, d = 2013. Most manufacturers use this format. The barrel will have the cc's on it too, usually.
February 3, 201412 yr Author thanks guys, paid for the bike and she will be in my shed by the end of next wk
