Featured Replies

hi all

just a quick one,i am trying to buy a beta 200 evo but its in another state,I've got the frame number and would like to check up the manufacturing date etc what numbers should i be looking for it should be a 2012,also what do the other numbers mean? i.e. can i find out its a 200 and not a 125 by the same frame numbers,

thanks

(and sorry i did try to do a google search)

Contact JLI, John Lampkin Imports, the Beta UK importer and they should be able to tell you.

They use the numbers to age the bikes to ensure you get the correct parts to fix........

I see your in Australia, he should be able to do it on an email, from his contact tab......

They'd definitely tell you, or go to the www.beta-uk.com website and follow the bike guides which describe what year bike has what goodies on it.

I used JLI a lot when I had my Techno, very helpful, and for the cost of the international call, you'll have an answer.

No brainer really.

10th Digit on the frame number will give you the year model mate. a = 2010, b = 2011, c = 2012, d = 2013. Most manufacturers use this format. The barrel will have the cc's on it too, usually.
