September 1, 201411 yr Author A way to quantify the bar position would be to measure the angle between the section of the bars where it just come out of the bar clamp and the fork centre line??? Would that be a way? I could put a straight edge with a spacer block on the fork area between triple clamp and measure bar angle with bevel gauge? Obviously if you put bars back and parallel with fork tube they would be too far back??? Mags
September 1, 201411 yr Mags Thanks for the info. Two last questions and then some tips based upon your answers. 1. What gear where you in in the video? 2. Do you wipe your a*** with your right hand or left hand or do you use toilet paper ? Be back soon with some obvious observations, stay tuned. Of course tips and observations are like bums, we all have them. BillyT
September 1, 201411 yr Author Billy, 1st gear in vid. The other... I'm ambidextrous and use any leaves in section that are smooth and shiny! (non-analRetentiveWink) Mags
September 1, 201411 yr lol. the level of detail in this thread is somehow amusing but slightly disturbing at the same time...
September 1, 201411 yr Think your analysing this toooo much. In my opinion the bars should be somewhere around vertical, trial and error to find your sweet spot.
September 2, 201411 yr Author b40rt, I do feel they need to come back a bit... so back it is until vertical and see how it feels. Thanks. Mags
September 2, 201411 yr Author Found this pic and they look pretty vertical to me! Mine are way forward compared to the pic. Mags
