I was thinking that if it could be made to work that I could ride it on a dual sport ride.Also any thoughts on if that would be a good or maybe not so good of an idea are welcome. Only thing I found swapping tanks is the underside clearance to the pipe varies. But the glass tank will take a fair bit before it burns through. LOL! scot taco Posted September 30, 2014 Author Share Posted September 30, 2014 Thanks to all for the feedback.I just bought a 1975/76 Frontera (m152) engine yesterday so I think my new plan is to turn my mk7 pursang into a frontera of sorts. I did have a m92 sherp t with a green and white sammy miller (I think) tank on it.I could never get the gas cap to not leak profusely and it would make my one riding buddy real nervous.It never did go up in flames and I really wish that I would have kept it.
