Featured Replies

anyone got one? are they good on power etc

how much better would a 2006 beta rev 3 125 be

Edited by itstommmm

I don't know to much about the Sherco, but the 2006 Rev is near the end of the Rev model production ( 2008 was the the last Rev to be made) so the Rev will be near the top of its evolution and was a good bike.

They all have there problems, if you opt for the beta you will need to find out if the clutch casing has been changed as the original casing tended to corrode due to them being magnesium, the replacements are aluminium so if it's been done no more problems, if it has not been done then you will have to budget around the £100.00 mark to replace it.

Hope that helps a little sorry I can not advise on the sherco.

Oh no! I have heard horrible things about tham bikes!

Really? What?

The Beta is 2 years newer and at this time 125cc development was quite rapid. The Beta has quite a bit more power right at the bottom end, not that it has a lot but the Sherco has virtually none.

Nothing much wrong with Sherco, what have you heard?

Beta may have case corrosion issue and Gasgas prone to gearbox problems.
