Hi all I was out on the sherco 290 yesterday and it was faultless all day until I hit one last rooty climb, as i landed it stalled and now won't rev unless the choke is on any ideas. I've cleaned the carb thinking it might of been a blocked jet but still bogs

Have the carb floats jammed down causing flooding?

I've had the carb apart and all seems fine just strange that it's fine with the choke out so wondered if it was drawing air in somewhere

Running decent on choke is indication of blocked pilot jet.

The pilot jet is really the last filter for the pilot circuit. There are two exits on the pilot circuit that have to flow.

All fixed I strip the carb and let it soak in carb cleaner then blew all the jets out again and it's runiing sweet again. Thanks for your help

Thanks for the feedback. One must be really carefull with the pilot jets as they are soo small and anything will block them.
