July 8, 201511 yr Hello to everone I'm no stranger to bikes, and my road bike is a 2003 TDM900 Yam, But lately I've had a hankering for a trials bike after a few shots on my mates Beta, so I've bitten the bullet and bought a 2003 Beta rev3, it's been used and has an odd war wound, but basically sound, so I'm in the process of getting the old girl fettled before I get serious and start practicing before I attempt my first Trial, and at 56 years old it will probably make my list of aches and pains grow by the week but I'm so looking forward to it so joining a club will be a must and a licence as well I believe, so I might see some of you soon oh and if your ever fortunate to have me observe you on a section.....your in luck!....my eyesight is *****
July 9, 201511 yr About time, what kept you so long. I started late too and realised I'd been missing out on some great days out. You're in a good area with some great clubs, events and tremendous terrain. Get entered in a trial soon as you can, with the aim of just finishing. You'll find no end of help and encouragement from others. Good luck.
