July 9, 201511 yr Hi, i'm trying to clean up my front brake caliper but I can't manually push the pistons back in, they won't budge? One has moved out more than the other three but none of them will push back? I've taken the cap of the lever reservoir and tried cracking open the bleed nipped but no movement? Help!! Cheers
July 9, 201511 yr Check if your lever is returning and adjusted so that there is no pressure on the plunger (if you remove the lever from the bike that will ensure the plunger has returned and that the return passage for the fluid is open).

July 10, 201511 yr There always should be some play in order to let new fluid in. Futhermore some glue clamps might help pushing them in. (use a piece of plastic or wood to protect your brake caliper.). First clean everything as good as possible otherwise you will push dirt in (also important when putting in new pads).
