Calling All Vito Van Owners

Featured Replies

I'm thinking about purchasing a Merc Vito 112 - any idea what sort of mpg I might expect if driven reasonably, both around town and on longer weekend jaunts. Any pros and cons that you may like to share would be much appreciated.

Thanks fellas

Superb van on my 3rd, if chipped it helps with the fuel consumption to give up to 35/40 mpg if driven at a steady 46 mph on the motorway but more normally 30 mpg. If you are bothered about mpg get a 108.

Brakes take some getting used to goes like stink handles superbly nice and comfy like a car. I prefered the 112 over the new one. I don't like the 2 stage central locking but apart from that can't think of anything I don't like, oh yes no cup holders.

i have a 108 which has been superb.i purchased it second hand two years ago,i could not manage without it now.driven at a steady 60-80 mph it doea about 30-35 to the gallon loaded, the brakes need applying early if you are loaded and speeding!!!.one thing i have noticed is front tyre wear seems abit on the high side but i have just put four new barum van tyres on for

I have a 110cdi 03 which i have had since it was a demo,

It drives & handles like a car, fuel consumption is excellent

it regularly returns 35-38mpg.

Under hard braking i find the brakes fade but perhaps it's

the way i drive it. :D overall i would recommend to anyone. <_<

White vans are the best they can balance on two wheels or is that just the way Dabster parks?

DABSTER,WHICH BIT AM I TAKING THE PI22 OUT OF???.
