April 12, 201610 yr Hi All I am trying to track down a fuel leak from the tank area. How does the little plastic tank cover get removed? I have tried prying it off, but am worried about breaking it. Cheers
April 12, 201610 yr The little black circle just pops out from the front, but could break the tab due to age. Sounds like a cracked frame. Had a 2002 with several.

April 12, 201610 yr The tank cover is secured by an o-ring, which is set in a grove below the inlet threads. Remove the o-ring and the cover lifts off.
