January 18, 200422 yr No passport required for Northern Ireland BUT check if flying. Some airlines insist you carry it these days even for domestic flights. Technically You don't need it for EIRE either. They'll take a photographic driving licence.

For flying you must have some form of photo ID see yaz all theer. and if flying Easyjet then they are rigid on their 40 minute check-in. The check-in gate closes 40 mins before and that's it. No arguments.
