Tlr200

I have just purchased a 1985 TLR200 and have a couple of questions.

The clutch is great when its cold, but when it is hot it is impossible to get neutral. The clutch seems to drag and it feels like it needs adjusting. It doesn't slip at all. I understand it was fitted with new clutch plates and an anti-judder kit a few months ago.

Are there any tips for front fork setup? I'm around 95kg. The forks stick up past the top yoke around 6mm, and they have air valves fitted to the top. They don't seem to have any air in them.

Regular oil changes help with the clutch

I had an anti judder kit but found clutch a bit vague.

Scrub metal plates with rough emery also seems to help

5 weight oil in the forks and about 3 to 5 psi works for me.

At your weight , you may want some new progressive fork springs, the OE's may be getting tired ... And if memory serves , I don't think you want more than 5 psi in the forks ... I'll check my shop manual if need be ...Manual was inside and not out in the shop ..

First there is a grove in the fork tube that should be flush with the top clamp upper edge ...

2nd , 0 to 6psi in the forks ....(as long as the seals are not leaking ...
