Leaded fuel?

Featured Replies

Anyone run leaded fuel in the vertigo? Is be a little concerned given all the sensors.

I ask because it's difficult in my location to get ethanol free unleaded.  The solution to this point has been to mix leaded race gas and ethanol pump gas to bring the ethanol down to 5%.

If I can't run leaded in a vertigo (and I'd be inclined not to) I'd have to run it 10% ethanol pump gas.

Check www.pure-gas.org for ethanol free gas stations.

Check with Vertigo to make sure but I don't think it has any sensors that will be harmed by lead. On a car lambda sensors and some MAF sensors are harmed by lead but I am pretty certain the Vertigo does not have these.
