The clutch on my 2014 Sheco ST 125 has always been good.  Very light, very slipable and never dragged.

However, recently the clutch has become more on/off and the clutch is dragging.  If cold, it drags badly.

Same oil.  Changed monthly.

Ideas?

I reckon..... 2014 doesn't sound very old, but the first thing I would look at is the condition of the basket. I had to "service" my 2007 250 clutch recently which made all the difference, it's as good as new now.

By service I mean remove the basket and look for rough edges on one side of all of the tongs, and smooth with a file. I also roughed up the steels and cleaned the plates, checked none were bent and soaked in oil before reassembly.

The edges on my Sherco 125 clutch basket were the same as the above basket, perhaps worse.  I filed them smooth.  

The tangs on the clutch plates also had burrs on them, where they rubbed against the basket.  I filed them smooth too.

Following the Beta Clutch Fix I also scraped away all the excess glue from between the pads on the clutch plates.

When I first started it up (from cold)  it did not leap forward, which it was doing previously.  The clutch also feels much smoother.

For what the basket is worth I wouldn't bother filing the fingers, it's very hard to take the exact same amount off each 1

I replaced my basket along with the rubber dampers last year, total cost was under 40 pound. Splatshop have a step by step guide in their blog section on how to replace the parts

As a bonus you should end up with a quieter motor after the dampers are replaced
