4rt Throttle Cable

just fitted new bars on 4rt ,throttle cable seems tight now ,on full right lock cable is pulling anyone else had same problem ,how did you get round it?

about 18mm in length.

dude.............go back to stock bars!!!

a 315 throttle assebley will help the problem.

also get a 315 air filter, they breath much better!!!

its just a standard set of renthals ive put on ,see the bloke who had it before me cut a bit of the bars ,to narrow for me ,thats why i cant understand why it would make cable tight.

I too have had problems with the throttle cable routing. When I turn full lock right the revs climbed. I rerouted the cable behind the bars, that helped some, but didn't totally cure the problem. I need to leave a miniscule amount of slack in the cable, something I usually don't like, but have adapted to. Maybe a total reroute is in order....

just spoke to sandifords ,turns out the **** that had it before me routed cable to come out of left side of tank ,ive now run cable up the right hand side of frame and coming out right hand side of tank ,sorted !! thanks for replys.
