I’ve recently sent my top end off to a company for an exchange I’ve now received the parts back I have been given my original head back and a replacement barrel. 

Now ive started to build it up and the head is different to the barrel. The head studs don’t line up with the barrel can anyone help me with what’s wrong. 

Is there a deferent barrels depending on age etc? 

I’m awaiting a call back from the company now. 

Has anyone ever had a similar problem?

I’ve now spoken to them and sent the pats back. 

They have been helpful enough just hope the correct parts come back soon so I get get back out 

I’ve now been told the guys on holiday so have to wait until he’s back so he can agree they sent the wrong barrel. Won’t be dealing with these again. 

 They can`t tell if a head is mismatched with a cylinder?  Either it fits or not.

Makes you wonder how they survive,pity you can't name them so others don't get caught 

Finally got my original barrel back and got the bike built up seems all good. But now the fuel tank has changed shape that much that the fuel tap isn’t sealing!!!!!
