Approx 4mm diameter well, 2.5 dia into bush.

I am still a bit confused with where people are talking about work the 4.5mm hole for the bush.

I believe I understand the 6 dimples on the end of the shaft where it sits into the bearing to reduce end float.

 I understood the spiral groove but I don't think this is something that I am able to do at home
