August 18, 20197 yr Hi, can anyone advise if there is a simple way to change the fork oil in a beta rev3 (2003) with out a strip down cheers Neil
August 18, 20197 yr I seem to remember spending about ten minuteson the operation: removing the front wheel and mudguard then, having removed the top nuts, sliding the stanchions out the yokes, upending them and pumping in to a collection vessel.
August 18, 20197 yr Author many thanks for that ...i presume you just put the desired amount of oil in each leg at the open end(nut removed) and just tighten things back up is it
August 18, 20197 yr Best to pull them apart and flush them out as there is always oily gunge lying at the bottom of the legs if putting fresh oil in
August 19, 20197 yr Can be flushed by pumping fluid whilst in one piece, it may need more than one go. I used to use paraffin and it did not seem to affect seals.
