Mwl
Got a rev 3 125 and evo 250, 09 imaculate and 2010 well used, both bikes I put a new uprated water impeller on. And changed waterpump seal, (the right way around,) Now both bikes got water in the oil, I obviously disturbed something, So I'm going to put a small amount of sealant around the seals, Surely the water pump shaft doesn't wear that much ???? TMofCumbria
Maybe cut sealing lip as you put shaft through then. Could be a groove i shaft due to previous seal wear or a bit of corrosion on shaft if new seal is contacting it in a slightly different place. Mwl
Did buy a new shaft, will fit it on one of them, Got two spare seals so will try again, very carefully, lol Thinking maybe I should have greased the shaft before sliding on seal,
Mwl
Sorted seals, I must have slightly twisted one, greased it then slid it home, it's now good,
