lineaway Posted February 13, 2023 Share Posted February 13, 2023 The rookie 80 was a great bike for my son. I would say due to parts I would pass, unless it was cheap. I bought a 2021 Beta 80 for not so cheap, already on to the second grandson. Both 80's are great bikes, but a 125 will grow with them much better. For sure 125 could be better however for him, never riding trial 125 (even with reduced gas) it is still recept for crash in my opinion. Rookie has the same wheel size but IMHO better for start.
