70sRider Posted July 31, 2023 Report Share Posted July 31, 2023 Hi I am looking for advice regarding the amount of free side play at the side of the big end between the big end and the Crank flywheel. I have just pressed in a new crank pin and the width across the flywheel is the same as the width before I rebuilt it, at the moment the side play on the big end is 0.3mm(0.012in). I would be grateful if anyone could let me know if this is ok or if they have a workshop manual what the min/max tolerances are. Many Thanks.
