To start with have you lifted the needle by lowering the clip into the slot down from where it was when you found it lean and tested that. Edited November 17, 20241 yr by Tr1AL

November 17, 20241 yr Well you are correct on that stock it is lean. All the bikes stock come lean from the factory. The Gas Gas forum had a lot of that info. It all depends where you are from as the fuels can be different. Seems in the .U.K. they were big on changing the slides on the pwk. But I think they also showed a different needle. In the states we usually just increase the pilot size, but our fuel is different and we ride higher elevations. Hopefully someone replies with a thought on the needle.

November 25, 20241 yr if you know how to jet why are you asking what clip position . How are your brakes did the slots cut into the pads make your brakes not work properly.

March 15, 20251 yr The design of that carb is very interesting I like it a lot but at $700.00 USA and £770.00 in the UK it seems to be a works rider only choice. At club level in the UK it seems a little excessive to my mind . A couple of years ago I bought a second hand genuine KEIHIN PWK28 with standard manufacturer recommended jets/settings for £50.00 off ebay gave it a clean by hand and it worked absolutely crisp from pick up through to rev out. If you have Elons money then of course why not if it works as well as they say its like having fuel injection as you point out. Enjoy and no more jetting problems for you , that has to feel good. March 15, 20251 yr Author My bike does not ping anymore at mid throttle and it revs clean all the way threw the RPM range and over rev I let a Vertigo rider try it He gave it a two thumbs up. It runs like my EFI
